The learning structure begins with cybersecurity fundamentals, organized into detailed chapters that guide users through each topic systematically. User interaction with the app, such as completing quizzes, garners security coins, which can be utilized for app customization. In addition to coins, participants earn IQ points that serve as metrics for learning engagement; maintaining daily activity is essential for preserving these points.

SecureMind is part of a Master's thesis initiative aimed at advancing cybersecurity awareness training. In alignment with this objective, SecureMind collects anonymous usage data only upon voluntary consent, which can be provided or retracted at any time without repercussions.

The platform is developed by Florian Seida under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dominik Herrmann, the head of the Privacy and Security in Information Systems Group (PSI) at the University of Bamberg.
